Subject: Maintenance report - TVTA - northern sections
To: john maccabe <maccabej@gmail.com>
- Plover Mills Rd. - Ebenezer Rd.- done week of July 19
- Ebenezer Rd.-Hwy 7 - done week of July 19
- Golf course north of Hwy 7 - done week of July 19
- Next section after Golf course (through woods and along the stony path by the river) - not done but probably not too bad.
Overall we were pleasantly surprised at how clear the trail was a month after previous maintenance work. The work this time was relatively easy.
The trail is in good shape from Plover Mills Rd to northern terminus.
Hogweed. There are a couple of Hogweed plants amidst a clump of Angelica about 30m off trail in area just south of the ZigZag forest- but these are the only reported ones I know of so far that haven't proved to be something else.
